"Whatcha gonna do with all them horses ya got up there?"
When we first moved to NW Pennsylvania, we heard this question over and over, "Whatca gonna do with all them horses ya got up there?" If you're a crazy horse person like us, the question seems ridiculous, but we just smiled as the plan was already in motion . . .
Although we could go on and on about how Triple Dream Farm came to be here (we may do that in another blog) We think that our recent visit to a local nursing home with one of our latest rescues, Hank, as well as our rabbits says it all . . .
So, what do we do with all those horses?
Well, we think you can see the joy that they bring to others thru visits, pony rides, lessons, farm open houses and other interactions and even more in the coming months with future community outreach. Our goal is to give a new home to equines at risk, living in neglect and abuse and some elder owner surrenders while encouraging integration with them with our elderly, at-risk youth, those suffering from PTSD or recovering from abuse and living with disabilities.
