If you have received a product that has been damaged by shipping or is defective, you must contact us within 10 days of your receipt of the order through this website only - any other means of contact will not be acknowledged. Your order number must be included in all communication and on the front of your return package under "Reins for Rescues".
Defective or damaged products must be returned within 30 days from your receipt of your order. Any products returned pass the 30 day time period, will not be refunded or accepted for return. Any products returned with obvious tampering or dis-assembly, will not be refunded or returned.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and prior return authorization from Reins for Rescues.
Products returned for any other reason other than damage or a defect will be subject to a 35% restocking fee per product returned in addition to shipping charges to return the product to us and the shipping charges for a new product, if selected.
Products received by the buyer (you) over 30 days in the past will not be accepted for return, exchange or refund. Clearance items are sold in "as is" condition and are not returnable for a refund or exchange. Additional non-returnable item are Gift cards.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund, which will also include your original shipping costs.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: P.O. Box 125, Crosby, PA 16724-0125, USA. You will be responsible for additional shipping charges.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: P.O. Box 125, Crosby, PA 16724-0125. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless we find that your product was defective.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
